IN THREE PARTS;THE TOP WITH BROAD OGEE CORNICE ABOVE PANELED BACK WITH SMALL SHELF, SOLID SIDE PANELS BEHIND SHAPED TURNED SUPPORTS, THE LOWER SECTION WITH TURNED DROP FINIALS ABOVE THREE RAISED ARCHED PANEL CUPBOARD DOORS, THE CENTRAL CUPBOARD WITH NICE ORIGINAL FITTED DRAWER INTERIOR .
THE LOWER SECTION A BANK OF THREE RAISED PANEL OAK LINED DRAWERS, ABOVE CENTRAL RAISED SHAPED PANEL WITH IRON PINNED CUPBOARD DOORS EITHER SIDE. PANELED SIDES AND NICE ORIGINAL ALL CONFORMING REAR PANEL BACK CONSTRUCTION. GOOD PERIOD BRASSWORK HANDLES & ESCUTCHEONS.

THE CASE OF CHARACTERISTIC STYLE OF LATE 18TH CENTURY WELSH PROVINCIAL CLOCKS OF THE REGION, HOWEVER THE CASE IS CONSTRUCTED NOT FROM OAK BUT ENTIRELY FROM A SINGLE SOURCE OF SOLID TIMBER EXHIBITING CHARACTERISTICS SIMILAR TO THAT OF BULLET WOOD OR ROSEWOOD EXPORTED FROM THE COLONIES, OR EVEN THE MADAGASGAN TIMBER BOIS DE ROSE .
